御嶽昇仙峡
A beautiful valley reminiscent of Taroko Gorge in Taiwan

Shosenkyo Gorge in Yamanashi Prefecture is said to be the most beautiful gorge in Japan, similar to Taroko Gorge in Taiwan. The magnificent natural beauty of the strange rock formations, waterfalls, and clear streams created by the erosion of granite is a sight to behold!

Shosenkyo Gorge in Yamanashi Prefecture is a scenic spot that has been selected as a Japan Heritage Site.

Shosenkyo was once a training path leading to the sacred Mount Kinpu. Its story of harmony between history, culture, nature and faith has been recognized as a Japan Heritage Site.

On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji! A power spot nurtured by nature

There are many places where "ki" (energy) gathers, where nature and faith come together, making it the perfect place for a healing trip to revitalize your mind and body.

The birthplace of crystal tells us about its culture

High-quality crystals were mined in Shosenkyo around 1800, marking the beginning of the Yamanashi jewelry industry. Even today, Crystal Highway is lined with natural stone shops where you can find your favorite accessories.
